During the day there is some days with pool music and workouts but honestly nothing that got huge attention and didn't occur daily. I felt for a resort this size, they should have daily/ nightly things to do. There was 2 weddings while we were there and a private event but nothing for customers. There are some board games and some coloring but does not look like an all day type of place. The kids center is super tiny and doesn't look very fun. This is truly needed at this resort because (as is) it is really not anything to do for kids at this time. They are working to open 2 more casas and also a family area at the opposite end of the resort. The resort was still under construction when we were there in July. There is a breakwall but you can only go waist high inside the breakwall. The beach is extremely rocky with rocks and coral everywhere. Beach lovers will be sorely disappointed. Open and natural design feels very eco and modern. Watch out for sea urchins any time you are near rocks in the water. There were tons of reef fish, squid and other cool things to look at. We really enjoyed snorkeling near the man made reef in the lagoon. Other special things about the hotel were the nightly activities, exploring the local area and snorkeling on and off site. It is clear that you have built a very beautiful resort, but it is the staff that makes the experience truly extraordinary. All of the hostesses are the buffet restaurant were very accommodating and friendly.Īt the pool the Dulce was an excellent server that was always present, attentive and personable.Īlso at the pool Candelario who took care of the pool grounds worked very hard ensuring that the pool and beach looked perfect as caring for the hotel to ensure that it stays beautiful for years to come.įernanda, Rubi and Stephanie took great care of the kids and the kids all loved them.Ĭarlos from onsite Transportation was very helpful and has a wonderful personality. Luis from the omelet station was always friendly and ready to make a great omelet. He made sure our family had everything we desired. He was extremely helpful in suggesting traditional preparations of the local offerings as well. Sous Chef Ramses was very attentive and focused on delivering quality. The kids section was phenomenal, but our kids preferred the regular pools. There was nice section of the beach that was swimmable, but we spent most of our time at the pools.
